## New Bill Could Create Affordable Middle-Class Housing for Californians
 A new bipartisan bill could create more affordable housing for middle-class families
across California. 
If passed, [AB 1287 ](https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billCompareClient.xhtml?bill_id=202320240AB1287&showamends=false)
would expand the [California Density Bonus Law](https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/codes_displaySection.xhtml?sectionNum=65915&lawCode=GOV).
Developers could receive density bonuses if they create affordable middle-income
housing.
